- Text of a lecture to the Sphex Club in Lynchburg. This presentation focuses on the High Renaissance and its three famous leaders: Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raphael. Dr. West emphasizes the personality and relationship of these three giants. They knew each other well, but there could be no two men more different in personality than Leonardo and Michelangelo who were definitely not fond of each other.
