- Digital images of architectural plans and drawings for construction of the Dunbar High School in Lynchburg, Virginia. Dunbar High School opened in 1923 and served "colored" students in Lynchburg. The high school building was designed by Craighill and Cardwell Architects in 1921. The building included a library on the second floor which would be known as the Dunbar Branch Library from 1924-1946. Plans for the original building and subsequent renovations are held in physical format at Jones Memorial Library in Lynchburg Architectural Archive (LAA) collection 2073, ID 1494. In 2 folders.
