- AUTO RIDDLED BY GUNFIRE-From left, Det. Sgts. J.R. Derbin, W.J. Payne and E.L. Francis survey the damage caused Friday night by an unidentified gunman who fired five shotgun blasts into this car occupied by Charles L. Harris of 1601 Bedford Ave., and Sandra Wingfield of 1230 Lakeview Drive while parked along Blackwater Creek. Harris was admitted to Lynchburg General Hospital with gunshot wound of neck and back.
